1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all sales concluded between Swiss Bedding Sàrl and its customers, whether in-store or on the website www.swissbedding.swiss . Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

2. Prices and discounts

The prices shown include VAT applicable in Switzerland.
Promotional offers are valid for a limited time, while stocks last, and can be seen in store, on the website or in the current catalogue.
Subject to errors in pricing, printing or modification without notice.

3. Product Selection

The customer makes their product selection independently. Swiss Bedding provides advice but cannot be held responsible for errors in dimensions or model.
No returns, exchanges or refunds will be accepted in the event of an error resulting from the customer's choice.

🔁 Exception: in case of error in dimensions, an exchange is possible for a fee of CHF 159, with a new delivery time of 15 to 20 working days.

4. Right of exchange

Mattress :

• 100-night exchange right (one time only), for standard size mattresses.

• Applicable after a 20-night trial.

• A clean cover is mandatory; in case of stains, a new cover will be charged.

• Only the core is replaced.

• Exchange charged at CHF 159, delivery included.

• No refunds, only a voucher for the difference if the new model is cheaper.

📌 Not valid for: custom-made products, clearance or exhibition.

Pillows:

• Exchange possible within 10 days (once), only for Swiss Bedding pillows (excluding feather/synthetic).

• Clean pillow, in original packaging.

• If a stain is detected: the cover will be billed.

• Difference refunded in the form of a voucher.

5. Delivery & lead times

Areas served & fares

• Zone 1: Geneva, Vaud, Neuchâtel

• Zone 2: Bern, Fribourg, Jura

• Zone 3: Aargau, Basel, Lucerne, Obwalden, Solothurn, Valais

• Zone 4: Appenzell, Glarus, Nidwalden, St. Gallen, Schaffhausen, Thurgau, Ticino, Uri, Zug, Zurich

• Pillows / bedding: 10 CHF by post, delivery time: 5 to 15 days.

• Indicative delivery times: 20 to 40 working days for mattresses/bed bases; 8 to 12 weeks for beds.

📦 Doorstep delivery: you are responsible for installation in the room.
❗ Carefully measure your access points (doors, stairs, elevator).
📞 A delivery slot is scheduled 1 week in advance. Please call 20 minutes before arrival.

🛠️ No dismantling of your existing furniture.
🚫 In case of difficult access, delivery drivers will leave the items at the entrance. No compensation is possible.

⏰ In case of absence or impossibility of delivery on the agreed date: 100 CHF charged.
👤 An adult must be present on site.

6. Payment terms

• Minimum deposit of 20% upon ordering.

• Balance due before or upon delivery, depending on the chosen method.

• Payment possible in a maximum of 4 monthly installments, without interest.

• In case of bank transfer: must be made 3 days before delivery.

• If payment is not possible upon delivery: no product will be left.

7. Guarantees

The warranty covers normal use and proper maintenance.
Prorated warranty from the 3rd year (1/10 per year for mattresses).

8. Cancellations & Modifications

• Modification/cancellation possible within 48 hours of ordering.

• Beyond that: 20% fee retained.

• No returns accepted unless there is a proven error on our part.

• Display models sold as is, no returns possible.

9. Lateness or absence

• In the event of unjustified non-acceptance of the goods, fees will be charged.

• Postal shipment not received: new shipping costs to be borne by the customer.

• Delivery delay due to a fabric breakage: no right to compensation.

• In case of postponement > 60 days: 100 CHF/month storage fee.

10. Retention of Title

All items remain the property of Swiss Bedding until full payment is received.
We reserve the right to register this reservation in the cantonal register.

11. Product Loans

Any loaned product must be returned in perfect condition upon final delivery.
Fees will be charged in case of damage.

12. After-sales service

A call-out fee of CHF 100 applies, except in the case of a proven defect covered by warranty.

13. Manufacturing tolerances

Dimensional variations of +/- 3 cm may exist.
Bonding may be present in the core of the mattress.

14. Product Maintenance

• Covers washable at 30–40°C, do not tumble dry.

• Regularly rotate the mattress (foot/head) to maintain its comfort.

• Use only on ventilated surfaces (bed base, slatted frame, etc.).

15. Data Protection

Swiss Bedding complies with applicable laws regarding data protection and security.
No data will be transmitted to third parties without your consent.
In accordance with the law, you can request to view, modify or delete your data.

16. Miscellaneous remarks

• The photos are for illustrative purposes only.

• Discrepancies may appear between samples and delivered products.

• The order form serves as proof in case of dispute.

• Swiss Bedding may cancel a contract at any time for legitimate reasons.
